This nylon netting for seines and hoop nets is hung on a one-third basis meaning that for every 100 feet of finished net, you will need 150 stretched feet of netting. There are 15 stretched feet per pound. Made from the best quality nylon. Stocked single selvage both ends.

This is the best size net to use to make crab traps for the Chesapeake Bay. Holds up better than #15. 1 1/2" square 4 or 5 mesh would be perfect.

Your #18 mesh netting works much better than the #15 mesh netting that I have been using in the past for my crab traps but should have more options as to mesh size. 7 or 8 mesh netting would be ideal for my traps.
