The steel works great, as advertised but a suggestion: either show the product as overall length or blade length. thought a 14" was overall and too long for my rack because blade is 14". Not a criticism just a suggestion.

Had it for ages

I have had this steel since about the 80's, used it alot for fishing... but last 20 years just for household and personal fishing. Wasn't sure it was still available because of how old mine is,would be a bummer if not available anymore! I tried the 'smoother ones', but they just don't seem to cut into the blade enough for me.
