This Turtle Net is made of #15 knotted nylon netting and tied to three galvanized steel hoops. This net has fingered throats and is approximately 6 ft. long. It is assembled and ready to fish. Includes instructions. Black netcoat treatment.

These turtle nets are fully assembled and ready to fish. Suspend bait bag from back and middle hoops, positioning bag within inner throat. Allow two inches of turtle net to remain above water to permit breathing by trapped turtles. Trapping suggestions with each turtle net.

These nets are also available with flat throat instead of fingered throat. Specify "Arkansas Style".

Have caught turtles each time I've used it so far. Could have used a set of instructions as a first time user but utube came to the rescue.

Production works great. Sometimes I am catching turtles without bait which tells you my lake has a turtle problem.

Great Product

We ordered 3 Turtle nets for a survey of a wetland area. They were extremely effective as our first net yielded 32 turtles! Different species and sizes of turtles were caught regularly after only a 5 hour window. This is a great product and I would buy again if needed.

Good Eats

I've been eating snapping turtle since I was young. Now I live on the river and have been trapping them myself for the last 3 years using these traps. Some days I've had 3 at a time in them. Getting them out is an issue. But, inserting a carbineer into the lines holding the funnel to the top helps. Just pop the carbineer and the funnel folds out the other way.

Well made net but can't use it

Perfect net if I had done my research. Not a legal net for Arkansas so i messed up pretty bad. Totally my fault and this is a great company and they sell great products.

Received my hoop net and couldn't be happier. It worked like a charm. 2nd time out with it....3 big snappers in the net. The quality of the product is great! Didn't come with instructions but a little trial and error I got it figured out and love it. Can't wait to spread the word about this product!!!

Turtle Net Knot Request

Hello - i recently purchased and received 5 turtle nets. My order included the following message: "please leave knots at tail/back end of trap undone/unknotted. thank you". the nets i received have knots at tail end tied/knotted. These knots are VERY difficult/time consuming to undo. I have made this request on previous net orders with no problems (knots untied).

Excellent product performance

Pond seemed to have numerous turtle s so friend recommended turtle net trap. Excellent product and performed as needed catching 99 turtles in first four nights !
